Donna Wilson is a seasoned paralegal investigator with over 20 years of experience delivering legal, investigative, and administrative support to law firms, law enforcement agencies, and both state and federal government entities. Donna has a proven track record in asset tracking, case management and trial preparation, claim investigations, and compliance auditing, consistently delivering specialized results to clients and customers nationwide. Throughout her multifaceted career, Donna has held key positions across multiple sectors.

In federal service, she conducted site audits for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) compliance with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and most recently served as an Asset Forfeiture Paralegal for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). During the pandemic, she remotely supported major federal initiatives as a Paralegal Specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and as a Claims Adjudicator for the State of Maine, ensuring regulatory compliance in high-stakes environments.

Donna’s law enforcement background includes roles as an Identification Clerk for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and as a Communications Officer (Dispatcher) for the Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD). 

Her corporate experience includes tasks in Property Data Collection, Inspections, Investigations, and Occupancy Verification for Groundworks Inspections, WeGoLook, and Photo Inspection, Inc., where she’s gathered, documented, and photographed critical property information for risk assessment and compliance purposes. 

In the faith-based sector, she served as an Executive Aide to the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church for over 20 years, supporting organizational leadership and administration. 

In her capacity as a paralegal and lead investigator in the private sector, Donna has managed litigation support and investigative operations for prominent law firms in Nashville, TN, and throughout Hampton Roads, VA. Her leadership experience includes supervising and training legal and investigative teams, optimizing case management processes, and developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure team effectiveness and high-quality results.

Donna holds a Master of Arts in English from Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Hampton University, along with a Paralegal Certificate. She is a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Virginia and an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Private Investigators Association of Virginia. She previously held a Private Investigator’s license for the Commonwealth of Virginia and is currently pursuing its renewal.
